“I asked the head nurse to check on my husband when I left and the next morning his oxygen was 71 and he couldn’t breathe. When I arrived the head nurse had no memory of me asking her to check on him the previous night and they had just started to administer oxygen an hour after I had called them to alert them that my husband couldn’t breathe. When the ambulance arrived, they said that they had not…”

“The Aids are very nice and caring. The conflict comes in when questioned about PT and OT, I was told my mom would get 1 hr. Of PT and an hr of OT. My mom , with difficulty was able to walk when she went in, but because of lack of therapy and onset dementia after 2 months of being at the Sherill House, she was not able to walk when she returned home. So if you have a family member at any facility,…”

“My mother received excellent care here. She had been hospitalized three times and went to one rehab prior to coming to the Sherrill House. The Sherrill House had my mother walking, feeding herself and using the bathroom alone again! It was amazing. The staff is friendly and hard working and my mother even had great things to say about the food for the most part.”
