Two tiers.
One source of truth.
Both reports cover the public-record essentials. Advanced adds civil and criminal court filings plus CDC health data — the things that separate "looks fine" from "actually safe."
The essentials. For families who already have a shortlist and need to verify the facts the brochure left out.
The investigative tier. Adds civil and criminal court filings, federal dockets, and CDC infection data — the things lawyers and eldercare advocates ask for first.
What's in each report.
Common questions.
Don't see your question? Contact us — we typically respond within four hours during business days.
Where does the data come from?
Exclusively from public records — state Department of Health Services filings, federal CMS data (Nursing Home Compare), CDC infection reporting, and federal/state court dockets. Every claim in your report cites its source.
Is this affiliated with the facility or any government agency?
No. Senior Home Review is an independent service. We are not affiliated with any senior living facility, regulatory body, or government agency.
What if you don't have data on a facility?
All 16,911 currently-licensed long-term care facilities in the U.S. are indexed. If we can't compile a report for any reason, you are not charged.
How current is the information?
State DHS records are refreshed weekly. CMS data is refreshed when CMS publishes (typically quarterly). Court records are pulled at the moment your report is generated.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If your report contains errors or you're dissatisfied for any reason, we offer a full refund within 30 days.
