“My wife had a great stay. Everybody was very nice to us and the care was great. Even the food was good. The team helped to improve my wife's physical abilities greatly. We can't say enough good things about Smithville Western!”

★★Pat Tirabasso · 2026-06-07 · via Google

“Nursing staff and aides are attentive. The facility and rooms tend to be dirty, and one room had large flakes of paint off the wall. The door to the bathroom was rubbing on the floor so a patient might have to put their shoulder to the door to open it. The beds were out of date and really didnt look very comfortable, and the bathroom fixtures were pitted and dirty. Just observations I made when …”

★★Lisa · 2026-02-04 · via Google

“This place needs some major improvements-starting with the administrator-he does not follow through with anything as promised and has been dismissive of our concerns about lack of activities. Building is very outdated. However the care staff has been great! kitchen staff and housekeeping are very friendly and helpful as well.”
