“I can completely understand how challenging it is to cover all of the varying needs of the residents. Both of my folks needed to have assisted living at about the same time. Truthfully, they had prepared to stay in their home and live out their lives in the comfort of their home. They have been married since 1950 and known each other since 1939. “Sedgwick is a special place. Many staff members have worked at Sedgwick for years and are compassionate & hard working care-givers. The Residents are the heart of the building. There is a very active Residents Council. They are always planning new things and strive to make Sedgwick a home away from home.”

“Halls smell of urine. Food for residents unappetizing, bed bugs, no interaction with participants, doors unlocked to rooms of residents..anyone can enter and cause harm to residents. Filthy bathrooms, staff, esp. Supervisors show little to no care for residents. Thank God I removed my Mom stat, else she would NOT BE ALIVE TODAY. Shelia Harris”
